MADAME FONTANGE ARRESTED
ATTEMPT TO ENTER SPAIN (Received September 17, 6.30 p.m.) ST. JEAN DE LUZ, September 16. It is reported that Madame Fontange was arrested in the mountains on the Franco-Spanish frontier for attempting to enter Spain without a passport. Madame Fontange was arrested on March 17 in connection with the shooting of the Comte de Chambrun at the Gare du Nord, Paris. She made allegations of a love affair with Signor Mussolini.
