ATTACKS ON BELFAST RESIDENTS
VICTIMS AWARDED DAMAGES FROM CITY CORPORATION (Received September 16, 6.30 p.m.) BELFAST, September 16. A man who was shot in the hand at his front door at midnight by an unidentified person sued the Belfast City Corporation for malicious injuries and was awarded £6O by the Recorder. Another man who was tarred and feathered and chained to a lamp post was awarded £B, and a third, who was attacked in the street, was awarded £lO.
