AUSTRALIA AWAITING LEAD FROM NEW ZEALAND

CANBERRA, September 15. Commenting on the completion of the plans for the opening of the air mail service between Australia and New Zealand, the Federal Minister of Defence (Sir Archdale Parkhill) said that the Federal Ministry was awaiting an invitation from the' New Zealand Government for the first meeting of the proposed operating company. As soon as New Zealand had fixed a date for the meeting the Australian Government would appoint its representatives.
