SOLUTION OF VATICAN BURGLARY
CABINET MAKER CONFESSES VATICAN CITY, September 14. The police have solved the robbery from the papal apartments, ascertaining that a cabinet maker who was attending to the chamberlain’s furniture provided three burglars, who stole ■money and jewels worth £2OOO, with overalls similar to those of the Vatican workmen, and steered them past the guards. The cabinet maker confessed and implicated his accomplices, after the police searched his home and found money that he could not account for.
