THE POSY RING
The posy ring as a feature of modern flower decoration has come to stay. It has been on the market a very, short time and still has the attraction of novelty, while its practical value recommends it to hostesses. A low bowl with its short-stemmed flowers does not impede the view at a dinner table, cannot be accidentally knocked over, and is most economical in upkeep. Tiny spring flowers are here again in the shops, and soon for a few pence the posy ring can be kept gay with primroses, violets and little sprigs of greenery. This type of decoration has the advantage of suiting equally well the modern room, “period” furniture, or the home which many of us prefer, and which is of no particular style but has merely grown through the years.
