COUNTY CLERKS’ CONFERENCE
OFFICERS ELECTED (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 24. At today’s conference of county clerks held, in Wellington the following officers were re-elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr F. H. Hudson (Horowhenua); vice-presidents, Messrs George Kelly (Ashburton), Edgar Ashcroft (Manakau); secretary-treasurer, Mr J. W. Harding (Hawera); auditor, Mr George Darbyshire (Wanganui). The following members of the executive were elected by the various district branches: Messrs E. A. Mahoney (Hauraki Plains), C. J. L. Campbell (Stratford), J. Graham (Woodville), H. H. Richardson (Rangitikei), L. J. Collins (Waimate), H. C. Gimblett (Southland), D. J. Evans (Westland).
