PRIME MINISTER
NO VISIT TO BE PAID TO INVERCARGILL
(Special to The Times) WELLINGTON, August 24. Because of the imminence of the session and the heavy demands on his available time the Prime Minister (the Rt Hon. M. J. Savage) was unable to include Invercargill in his South Island itinerary. His visits will be confined to Dunedin and Christchurch. He will leave Wellington on Saturday night next, August 28, and will go through to Dunedin, staying there on Monday and Tuesday. He will return to Christchurch on Wednesday and spend Thursday and Friday there, arriving in Wellington on his return on Saturday, September 4.
