CZECH CHILDREN TO LEARN DEFENCE
NEW MILITARY PROGRAMME PRAGUE, June 16. Defence training between the ages bf 6 and 60, with a minimum of 100 hours a year, is provided in Czechoslovakia’s new military programme. Children from the ages of 6 to 14 will undergo “physical and moral preparation in defence,” those between 14 and 17 will have training in auxiliary services, especially in civil air defence, and those between 17 and 30 will undergo actual military training. Girls and women will be trained for gas defence and hospital work,
