WATERLOO CUP MEETING LAST YEAR’S WINNER DEFEATED (United Press Association) MASTERTON, June 17. The Waterloo Cup coursing meeting opened today at the Akura enclosure before a representative attendance. Visiting officials of the New Zealand Association paid tribute to the excellent management and to the high standard of com-sing, the class of dogs generally being the best seen for some years. A surprise defeat in the second round was that of Father Emmerson, winner of the cup in 1936. Results were:—
