NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE PAYS TRIBUTE (United Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, June 16. The National Dairy Show was officially opened by the Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. W. Lee Martin), who paid high tributes to the organizers and exhibitors and said that practically every winter show in the Dominion was modelled on the National Dairy Show. The Minister stressed the need for the grading of pigs and also for the minimizing of stock losses from disease on the lines of his previous addresses. The show is continuing today but is marred by steady rain.
