PAPAL WHITE BOOK ON GERMANY
NO DIPLOMATIC RUPTURE INTENDED (Received June 16, 10.5 p.m.) VATICAN CITY, June 15. It is reported that a papal White Book shortly to be published on the Holy See’s relations with Germany is expected to cause a deep impression throughout the Christian world. It will contain documents showing the position of the Church and Roman Catholic communities in Germany and also the repeated attacks and demonstrations against the Church and the Holy See by German publicists, but it is stated that the Pope does not intend the documents to precede a diplomatic rupture with Germany.
