FRENCH ARMS-RUNNING ORGANIZATION
DISCOVERY AFTER GANGSTER FIGHT PARIS, June 15. After a gangster fight on Sunday night in which M. Maurice Jouhanneau was severely wounded, the police found in his apartments documents allegedly linking up throughout Europe an armsrunning organization which has at its disposal 22 tanks, 20 pursuit aeroplanes, 400,000 rifles and 30,000 machine-guns. These, it is suspected, were destined for Spain, but the communist newspaper L’Humanite suggests that perhaps they were for the armoury of the French Fascists.
