NEW ZEALAND HORSE EQUALS RECORD
JUVENILE HANDICAP AT ROSEBERY (Received June 16, 10.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 16. At the Roseberry races today New Zealand horses, Troy and Brown Oak, were well in the picture. The first division of the Juvenile Handicap was won narrowly by Troy and Brown Oak was a close foui*th. The race was over five and .three-quarter furlongs and Troy’s time equalled the track record of 1.12. Limous, having its first outing for some time, was hard ridden to win the Rosebery Handicap from Golden Treasure. Odilion finished second to After Six in the Encourage Stakes. WHERNSIDE WINS AT MENTONE (Received June 16, 10.50 p.m.) MELBOURNE, June 16. At the Mentone races today the Nicholson Welter 'Handicap was won by Whernside. Palatinate was un-, placed.
