BUS MEN AT ODDS WITH UNION

SEQUEL TO LONDON STRIKE LONDON, June 14. As a repercussion of the London bus strike the executive of the Transport and General Workers’ Union ordered the secretary-general (Mr Ernest Bevin) not to meet a deputation led by Mr A. F. Papworth, a member of the Central Bus Men’s Committee, which the executive has already suspended pending the result of an inquiry into its operations during the strike. The executive also instructed its officers to decline to deal with any official of the delegations.
