AWATEA ENTERS DOCK FOR OVERHAUL

MOST STRENUOUS SEASON IN BRITISH HISTORY SYDNEY, May 24. The Awatea entered dock during the week-end for an overhaul which will take nine weeks after the most strenuous season any British vessel has ever undertaken. Since September 15 of last year she has made 61 Tasman crossings, has covered 82,440 miles, and carried approximately 25,000 passengers.
