FINDER OF STINSON PLANE
PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC TESTIMONIAL (Received April 23, 10.25 p.m.) BRISBANE, April 22. A cheque for £9OO, the proceeds of a public testimonial, was presented by the Lord Mayor to Mr Bernard O’Reilly, finder of the Stinson plane survivors. O’Reilly’s exploit will probably be included in school books. He also received a host of gifts from New South Wales and Victoria.
