THREE MEN STILL IN AUCKLAND

AUSTRALIAN NAVAL SQUADRON (Special to The Times.) AUCKLAND, April 22. Only one man, a rating from the sloop H.M.A.S. Swan, failed to rejoin his ship before the departure of the Australian Squadron for Jervois'Bay on Wednesday. The missing man returned to H.M.S. Philomel today. He will be placed on board the first available passenger steamer and sent back to Sydney, where he will be dealt with by the Australian naval authorities. Two other men, who are both in the Auckland Hospital suffering from pneumonia, were left behind when the Squadron sailed. At the request of Rear-Admiral R. H. O. Lane-Poole they will be looked after by the New Zealand Naval authorities, who will make arrangements for their return to Australia when they are discharged from hospital.
