OPINION OF DUNEDIN EMPLOYERS (United Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 22. Adverse criticism of the watersiders resulted in considerable difficulty on the part of the union in persuading men to work yesterday and at a meeting of employers of wharf labour every member expressed a desire' to dissociate himself from the opinion published about local workers. While the position was not as satisfactory as could be desired it was agreed that the work was carried out at this port in a manner not excelled, if equalled, at any port in New Zealand.
