General Meeting of Club A general meeting of the Fortrose Miniature Rifle Club was held on Monday evening in the club room at the close of shooting. Mr C. T. Ruddenklau presided over a fair attendance of members. On the motion of Mr D. Anderson, it was agreed that in the event of a new member coming during the season, his handicap be made upon one shoot and that it be the difference between his score and the possible. It was decided to retain the raised

mound for firing from, but to have padding on it in the future for the comfort of marksmen. The president (Mr C. T. Ruddenklau) intimated that he was giving a championship cup for the highest aggregate off the rifle. Mrs Ruddenklau also gave a silver button for the weekly trophy. It was decided to enter two teams in the Southland Miniature Rifle Association’s Coronation tournament.
