A LOOPING THE LOOP RECORD
67 TIMES IN 34 MINUTES CAIRO, April 20. Towed by a Royal Air Force plane to a height of 8000 ft and then released, Flight Lieutenant E. L. Mole consecutively looped the loop in a German built glider 67 times in 34 minutes. This is a world’s record. Flight Lieutenant Mole said he was extremely giddy and had moments of doubt about the wisdom of a prawn and mayonnaise lunch.
