Mr and Mrs J. A. S. Aitken, Albany street, returned to Gore yesterday from a holiday at Pembroke. Mr and Mrs J. McDonough, of Invercargill, who have been the guests of Mrs D. Stewart, Halton street, East Gore, returned south yesterday. Misses S. Henry and B. Trembath are spending a holiday at Dunedin. Mrs M. Fitzgerald, Devon street, is visiting the West Coast. Misses R. Wallis and J. McKenzie, Devon street, spent last week-end at Riversdale. Miss Blanche Gibbs, Broughton street, left yesterday for Dunedin. Miss Beth Piper, of Dimedin, who has been visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs F. V. Piper, Albany street, returned north on Sunday. Miss Rowntree, of Wellington, has been the guest of Mr and Mrs E. H.
