THE AORANGI
FAULT DEVELOPED IN ENGINE (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 20. A fault developed in the crankshaft of the inner starboard engine during the Aorangi’s passage from Sydney to Auckland, necessitating that engine being cut out However, the vessel left . on time today for Vancouver where a new shaft will be fitted. It is believed that the Aorangi’s speed will be reduced to the extent of half a knot only, and with good weather, the vessel should not be more than a day late reaching Canada,
