GROUP OF SUNSPOTS
50,000 MILES IN LENGTH (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 20. A group of sunspots consisting of five component spots or moderate size and several smaller ones have broken out since Sunday afternoon, when there was no trace of it according to Mr G. V. Hudson, of Karori. The group, which is fully 50,000 miles in length, is situated in the sun’s eastern hemisphere, nearly half-way between the eastern limb and the central meridian.
