Mr Humphrey W. Guy, of London, is a guest at the Grand Hotel. Among the guests at the Grand Hotel are Messrs N. Johnstone and J. Quinn (Dunedin), Colonel Nichol (Maheno), Dr A. Kidd (Waipiata), Messrs R. Heatonwear, E. C. Parker, E. C. Hazelton, T. B. Gusscott and W. N. Singleton (Wellington). . Mr de Gielgud, a delegate from the International Headquarters of the Red Cross Society, Paris, is to pay an official visit to New Zealand in September. Accompanied by Mrs T. H. Lowry, Dominion president, he is to tour the Dominion. It is probable that he will address public meetings in each town he visits.
Recent arrivals at the Club Hotel include Messrs R. Donaldson, G. Graham, F. Spence, J. Randall and W. I. Smith (Dunedin), H. Frostick, N. Howell, D. Fouhy and P. Eden (Christchurch), J. B. Wilson (Timaru), G. Mulligan (Ashburton), Mandel and D. Raine (Wellington) and W. Greenberry (Auckland).
