Fifty acres of the City Council’s reserve at Rongotai, adjoining the aerodrome and the Lyall Bay foreshore, was announced as the site for the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition in 1940 by the directors yesterday. Lieuten-ant-Colonel H. E. Avery has been appointed secretary and treasurer of the exhibition.—Press Association.
