Mr and Mrs G. Hicks and Mr and Mrs E. Parsons are spending the Easter holidays at Te Anau. Mr and Mrs J. Walker and family, Shannon street, are on a camping holiday at Queenstown. Mr and Mrs T. Ross and Miss G. Ross, Ann street, left recently by motor to spend a holiday m Otago Central. _ Mr and Mrs R. Tennet, Burrows street, return today from a motor trip to Otago Central. WARM WEATHER Beautiful weather has been experienced at Bluff during the last week with plenty of warm sunshine and little wind. The port was very popular with visitors, of whom there was a large influx for the holidays. Unfortunately no shipping was in port at the week-end. EUCHRE TOURNAMENT There was another big attendance at the latest euchre tournament in aid of the Dominican Convent funds, held in Willard Hall. Mr L. Mortimer controlled play. Winners were: Women, Mrs J. Vincent 1, Mrs W. Gilson 2; men, Mr C. Jackson 1, Mi- M. Kelly 2; lucky number, Mr J. Woods.
