Mataura PAINFUL ACCIDENT
On Thursday afternoon a rather painful accident befel the small daughter of Mr R. Wright, of Boghead, Mataura. It is believed that Mr Wright’s two children were sitting in a trap while their father was opening a gate on the farm. The horse bolted and after going some distance the trap capsized throwing the two children out. The youngest child, a boy about two years ,of age, was unhurt but the girl, who is about five years of age, was conveyed to the Gore hospital where an X-ray examination showed the collarbone to be broken.
