The old motortruck has been disposed of and replaced by a better vehicle. . “During the year a number ot improvements were carried out, including new tees built for three new holes which will be brought into use for the 1937 season, and the draining of No. 5 fairway. The club house also was improved by the installation of a heater stove and a new crockery cupboard. Further improvements can be attained to the full only by the support of all members of the club. The committee appeals to members to make every endeavour to obtain new members so that our financial position will allow this progress. “The committee has to thank the following for generous donations during the year: Mr J. W. Turnbull, turfing spade; Mrs ’George Peterson, framed photograph; Dominion Lime Co., through Mr W. D. Shelton, lime; Mr J. A. S. Aitken, donation. “The following inter-club matches were played during the season: Wyndham, Balclutha, Mokoia. “We have to congratulate Mr Harold Aitken on again winning the senior championship, Mr J. P. Bishop the intermediate championship and Mr L. Barron the junior championship. It is with regret that we record Mr H. Aitken’s departure from the district, and we wish him all success. “In conclusion, we thank the women for their continued loyal support and assistance on all occasions.” PERSONAL Lieutenant J. A.
