NEW BUILDINGS
VALUE OF SEPTEMBER PERMITS.
A total value of £23,037 3/- was represented by the 78 building permits issued by the Invercargill City Council in September last. New dwellings accounted for 16 of the permits, and the total value of the work to be done in their building was nearly £14,000. The detailed figures for the month, as presented to the City Council last night, were as follows:—
Fees amounted to £9l 10/- and the number of inspections was 90.
