Oreti Surf Club
The ladies’ committee of the Oreti Surf and Life-Saving Club held an enjoyable card evening recently in the
Tudor Lounge. Twenty-seven tables played bridge, the remaining tables playing 500. The following were the prize winners: Highest score, Contract, Miss Batchelor; highest score, Auction, Mrs J. Thomson and Mr R. G. Speirs; highest Score, 500, Mrs A. Mitchell; hidden number, Mrs G. McHarg and Mr M. Hunt.
