The Tamatea will sail at 10.15 a.m. to-day for Stewart Island and return to Bluff this afternoon. The Shell Oil Company’s motor vessel Paua is due from Lyttelton this morning to discharge case and bulk oil. She afterwards loads a quantity of case-making timber and sails on completion for Wellington. The Canterbury Shipping Company’s motor vessel Gale finished working last night and sailed for Dunedin. , The Union Steam Ship Company advises that the Rangitiki, which left London on September 17, is now due to arrive at Wellington at 10 a.m. to-day. From New York and Newport News the A. and A. Line steamer City of Brisbane reached Auckland on Sunday. She will later complete discharge at Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia, and is due at the first-named port on October 26. The Federal Company are the agents. Cabled advice has been received that the Huddart Parker motor liner Wanganella left Sydney on Saturday afternoon for Wellington. She is due there this morning and will leave again to-morrow for Sydney and Melbourne.

J. W. Swift and Co., advise that the Port Hunter will leave London on October 28 for Auckland and Dunedin, and is due at the former port on December 6. and at Dunedin on December 11. This will be one of the final sailings from the United Kingdom to reach New Zealand in time for the Christmas trade. The Reynolds, which left Seychelles on August 30 for Auckland. Dunedin and Wanganui, was due at Ravensbourne yesterday. She will discharge portion of her cargo at Ravensbourne and a further quantity at Dunedin, proceeding later to Wanganui to complete.
