Miss E. Cowie, John street, is spending a holiday at Waimate as the guest of Mrs D. T. Lamach, formerly of Winton.
Mrs G. Gifford, Invercargill, is visiting her parents, Kir and Mrs J. Campbell.
Mrs H. R. Duston, Invercargill, was a visitor to Winton last week. Miss Ella Sutherland is spending a holiday in Waimate. Mr and Mrs W. Smeaton, Timaru, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs James Lambie, Browns. Miss Nola Young, Mossbum, has been the guest of Miss Marion Tilley, Great North Road.
Miss Marjorie Mcllwrick, of the Dunedin Training College, has been
spending a holiday with her parents Browns.
The successful players at the weekly euchre tournament of the Winton branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association were Mrs Ogilvy and Mr J. T. Damill.
Miss Muriel Keeney, Invercargill, was the guest of Mrs M. Olive last week. Mrs J. Prendeville has been visiting Mrs W. South, Hedgehope. Miss V. White, Browns, has been spending a holiday at Gore.
