(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.)

London, September 17. Mr J. A. Mollison is leaving for New York to attempt a third Atlantic flight in his Bellanca machine “Flash,” which is capable of 270 miles an hour and is reputed to be the fastest plane in the world. He hopes to begin his flight on October 17.

Flying at 20,000 feet, he expects to reach Croydon from New York in 17 hours. He will later try to break the record from England to Johannesburg and England to the Cape, after which he will consider plans for a flight round the world at the equator. He will make all these flights alone.
