The sport of hockey on skates has become popular in Southland, but special interest will centre round a match to take place at the Empire Theatre, Riverton, next Monday evening, for on this occasion women’s teams will take the floor. The game will be between the Riverton women’s hockey team and the Riverton basketbailers, and should prove both exciting and full of interest. On Wednesday night in the Drummond Hall another match has been arranged—a challenge hockey game on skates between Riverton and Drummond.
