Mokotua OTERAMIKA HALL COMMITTEE
To celebrate the occasion of the public hall being cleared of debt, the Oteramika hall committee held a dance, to which the residents were invited free of charge. There was a large crowd present. Mr Murdoch’s dance band supplied the music. Messrs F. Hoddinott and C. Nicol were masters of ceremonies.
At a suitable interval Mr James Milne, who has been chairman of the hall committee since its inception, presented Mr A. McDonald with a mantel clock as a token of appreciation of his gratuitous services in the interests of the hall. Mr W. Perriam also spoke. Mr McDonald replied.
