' Mr and Mrs B. Ross, Kurow, will be the guests of Mrs George Hicks, Burrows street, for the week-end. Mrs Norman Haszard and her small daughter, Robin, Spencer street, are spending a few days with Mrs Walter Clare, New River Heads. Miss Marjorie George, Tussock Creek, who has been the guest of Mrs A. McKillop, Bradshaw street, has returned home. Miss Diana Moffett, Wellesley, Invercargill, will be the guest of Miss Roma McKillop, for the week-end. Mrs Edmund Carter, Kingston, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs A.- Woods, Blackwater street, returned home on Thursday. Miss Edgar, Tapanui, who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs W. Harris, Bann street, left during the week on a visit to Wellington. Mrs James Walker, who has been living in Invercargill for the past year, has returned to Bluff to live, and has taken up residence in Bann street. Mrs E. Benfell, Bann street, left yesterday to spend a few days in Mataura. Mr and Mrs A. S. Russell, Herbert street, Invercargill, left by the Tamatea on Wednesday to spend a holiday at Stewart Island.
