NEW ZEALAND OLYMPIC TEAM
HOMEWARD VOYAGE BEGUN. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 1.10 a.m.) London, September 17. The Rangitiki’s crowded complement includes the New Zealand Olympic Games team with its manager (Dr A. E. Porritt), who entertained the team at a dinner before sailing. Dr Porritt told the Australian Associated Press that V. P. Boot, . the middle distance runner, if he trained hard would be in the picture at the Games at Tokyo in 1940. He expressed the opinion that the New Zealand athletes needed cinder tracks for their future training.
