Bridge Drive

' The women’s committee of the Southland Swimming Centre held a successful bridge and 500 evening in the Tudor Lounge on Thursday. There were 40 tables and the prizewinners were: Contract, Miss A. Gulliver; Auction, Mrs W. Tait and Mrs Oughton; 500, Mrs M. Hunt and Mr L. Foster; hidden number. Miss Meredith and Miss K. Lynch tied, the former winning the cut. Mr H. S. Baker was master of ceremonies.
