MR NIEDERER AND THE BIBLE.
To the Editor. Sir,—A big portion of your space is taken up in yesterday’s issue by Mr Niederer, prompted by a reply to a previous letter of his by a Mr Mathison. As this latter gentleman is at present in hospital I thought I might briefly answer Mr Niederer’s queries. The plain, brief and truthful explanation is that the “whole world lieth in the hands of the wicked one.” The rightful King was rejected and crucified, but not defeated, He is allowing the cup of iniquity to become full, things are going to get even woi’se, “as ye see the day approaching.” The rightful ruler, the Lord Jesus Christ, will come to th& air and call away every believer. Then when every restriction has been removed Satan will have a free hand and “things shall wax worse and worse” culminating in the greatest war this poor Christ-rejecting world has ever known —Armageddon. Then the rightful King will come and take charge. Satan will be chained and then and not till then will there be peace and goodwill on this earth.—Yours etc., REVELATION. Invercargill, July 21, 1936.
