FORTHCOMING CARNIVAL. NORTH PRINCESS COMMITTEE. The committee of the North Princess for the Civic Band Coronation Carnival is working hard for the cause. Euchre parties have been held at North Invercargill and Waikiwi and ) ver ® well attended. The winners at North Invercargill were Mrs Hughes and Mrs Dawson, who tied for the first and second prizes, a bag of sugar and 501 b of flour. Mr Mann won the third prize, 21b of tea. Three competitions were finalized, Mr Grantham, George street, winning quarter of a ton of coal, Mrs Moore, 114 Windsor street, box of chocolates No. 1, and Mx*s Weir, 112 Windsor street, box of chocolates No. 2 The committee has decided to hold a’ variety fair in the North Invercargill Hall.
