SOUTHLAND KENNEL CLUB
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the executive committee of the Southland Kennel Club was held on Thursday evening. Mr M. Winders presided over a full attendance of members. Final arrangements were made fo': the annual show. The officials appointed were: Show manager, Mr S. D. Stewart; ring stewards, Messrs Ford and Moffett. Arrangements were made to have special lighting and it was stated that this, with the white benches, should make an attractive show; dogs would be seen at their best. The monthly lecture was given by Mr G. I. Moffett. It was most interesting and instructive, dealing mainly with minor ailments and the preparing of a dog for the show. These lectures are open to the public. After his lecture Mt Moffett answered questions by those present.
