ARRESTS IMMINENT
SABOTAGE IN THE NAVY. SUSPECTS CLOSELY WATCHED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.40 p.m.) London, December 16. The Daily Herald understaxxds that arrests are imminent in connection with the sabotage x’evealed by the investigations of the police and the Admiralty early this month, when it was discovered that wilful damage had been skilfully concealed on the battleship Royal Oak and the submarine Oberon at Devonport Dockyard. Detectives mingling with workmen at Devonport have narrowed the suspects to a few men who are being closely watched. The inquiry is being conducted with unprecedented secrecy. The seriousness of the damage led to the tightening up of restrictions a' other docks.
