Mrs C. F. A. Jones, Earnslaw street, returned on Tuesday evening from a holiday in the north. ■ Mrs F. Stuckey returned to Dunedin on Tuesday after a visit to her sister, Mrs G. J. Yule, Spey street. Mrs E. Matheson and Miss E. Matheson, Otautau, are spending a holiday in Timaru and Christchurch. Nurse Scott, of Christchurch, is at present the guest of Mrs E. Gardiner, the Manse, South Invercargill. Miss Audrey Waite, the Parsonage, Bluff, is at present the guest of Mr and Mrs James More, South Riverton. Mrs H. H. Petrie, Mrs S. A. Faircloth and Miss Helen Mackay, of Invercargill, were recent callers at New Zealand House, London. Miss Chilwell, who has been the guest of Mrs J. Chilwell, Underwood, left yesterday on her return to Auckland. Mrs W. Fordyce, Tweed street, left by car on Sunday to spend a holiday in Dunedin as the guest of Mrs R. C. Glendinning, Roslyn. Miss Kathleen Fountain, of Dunedin, who was the guest of Miss Thelma Mac Ewan, Russell street, for the Spencer—Hoyles wedding returned home on Tuesday. Mr and Mrs S. Robinson, of Auckland, left yesterday for the Eglinton Valley after a visit to Invercargill, where they were guests at the Grand Hotel.
