OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, November 5. It is officially announced that Sir David Murray Anderson, Governor of Newfoundland, is to be the next Governor of New South Wales. Lady Anderson founded the Personal Service League in Newfoundland, which has done much to relieve distress.
London friends pay tribute to the social genius and delightful personality of Lady Anderson, who gives her energy and enthusiasm lavishly in social welfare work. Her brother, Mr Cecil Teschemaker, is en route to New Zealand on board the Tamaroa, which left Southampton on November 1.
