NO INCREASE

FEES FOR LINCOLN COLLEGE.

(Per United Press Association.)

. Christchurch, November 5. The Board of Governors of Lincoln College to-day refused to adopt the recommendation of the Director-Geh-eral of Agriculture that the fees payable by boarder students should be increased. Dr Reakes suggested an increase from the present scale of £52 yearly to £65 yearly. All the members of the board who spoke on the proposal were against the raising of the fees, declaring that it would, not be in the interests of the college or of agriculture if students were excluded by high fees. A motion that the fees should remain unaltered was carried unanimously.
