Function At Mount Linton
On Saturday evening Mr and Mrs W. J. A. McGregor entertained at their home, “Mount Linton,” in honour of their son, Mr Noel McGregor, who has recently returned from a trip abroad, and Miss Joan McGregor, of Athens, Georgia, America, who is at present their guest. Among those present beside the guests of honour were Mr and Mrs W. E. Hunt, Mr and Mrs T. Wray Wilson, Mr and Mrs H. D. Irving (Otautau), Mr and Mrs I. V. Wilson, Mr and Mrs J. C. Prain, Dr. and Mrs T. W. Barr Stoddart, Mr and Mrs Robert Stout, Mr and Mrs Leo Bennett, Mr and Mrs W. L. Cunningham (’’Castle Downs”), Mr and Mrs W. Swale (Limehills). Misses T. Mac Ewan, O. Holloway, M. Copeland, M. Pears (Etalvale), L. Cartwright (Timaru), P. Bain (Dunedin), E. L. Jones, A. Hamilton (Bluff), T. McKay, B. McGregor and M. McGregor. Messrs G. J. Reed, G. Cross, B.
