MOTOR UNION
NORTH ISLAND BODY. (Per United Press Association.) Palmerston North, November 4. The North Island Motor Union has resolved to lodge an emphatic protest against the declaration of the Eglinton Valley road as a main highway as an invasion of the principles of the Highways Act legislation. Advice was received at the meeting from the Transport Department that it is the latter’s intention to review motor registration and license forms with a view to their simplification before the next licensing period.
