DAMAGED WAIPAHI
DISCHARGE OF CARGO COMMENCED.
(Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 1. The Waipahi, which was extensively damaged when she struck a rock or reef near Pencarrow Head late on Wednesday night, came off the floating dock to-day. The vessel commenced the discharge of the Auckland portion of her cargo, which will be transhipped next "week. The Waipahi will be docked for further survey and to enable permanent repairs to be effected.
