OPENING OF EXHIBITION

The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that Dr Goebbels when opening the German radio exhibition, at which there was a bewildering display of uniformed bodyguards, referred to the short-wave service from Berlin transmitted in English and other languages. He emphasized that it was intended to counteract foreign Press reports of the conditions in Germany. Visitors would be allowed to broadcast provided they proved to be of Aryan descent and satisfied the Brown Shirts that their discourse was suitable.
