BOXING AT SYDNEY
RICHARDS DEFEATS KING. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.5 a.m.) Sydney, August 19. At the Stadium to-night in a fifteenround boxing contest, Ron Richards (11.7) outpointed the American Tommy King (11.8). The former won comfortably.
Private information received in Invercargill stated that at the Sydney Stadium last evening W. Pasco, a former Southland heavyweight boxer, won his fight by a knock-out in the fourth round. This is the second knock-out success by Pasco in the last fortnight since he has resumed boxing in Sydney.
